On the Annapolis side: The City of Annapolis and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership organized some great activities to create a family-friendly atmosphere for Tuggers and their cheerleaders from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Revelers were then invited to come on over to the Eastport side for the Tugfest, on Second Street between Severn Avenue and Back Creek.

E-Cruisers proivided free rides on their cool electric vehicles and some folks just walked across the bridge to the party.!

On the Eastport side: .As with all things MRE, the goal of the Tug of War and Tugfest is to celebrate the unique community that is Eastport – its people, its business and its maritime heritage, and ... to have some neighborly, competitive fun with our brethren across the harbor.

The Tugfest included adult and non-alcoholic beverages offered for sale thanks to Buck Distributing and Travelin 'Taverns. Tasty food was offered by Harbour Deli and our special guest provisioner, It's the Pits BBQ. For all the families attending, we had the first ever (for the Tugfest) The Maryland Special Olympics' MSP Polar Bear Plunge Family Fun Zone. | poster
